The globe trotting methods of Whynatte’s International Man of Mystery continue, as we recently received some photos of Clark in Egypt. Needless to say, he’s sporting his garment of choice, the Whynatte shirt in baby blue.
My friend Katie called me to ask what the hell Clark does for a living, and our conversation went something like this:
Katie: “What does Clark do for a living that takes him around the world?”
Me: “He’s a contractor”.
Katie: “No, seriously”.
Me: “Katie, there are very bad people that want to do very mean things to Clark”.
Katie: “Why would anyone want to hurt Clark?”.
Me: “Katie, if telling you what Clark actually does would put his life in danger, would you still want to know?”.
Katie: “Yes, tell me”.
Me: “I can’t now, Will and Grace is starting.”Clark took a break from his busy schedule to write brief descriptions of the following photos:
“Temple of Hatshepsut, 1500 BC. Picture this bad boy 3500 years ago surrounded by exotic trees, plants, and garden beds, with a sphinx-lined causeway …. and you thought it couldn’t get any more spectacular”.

“Posing by statue of Ramses II in the Temple of Karnak, the largest temple in the world. Dates back as far as 1965 BC. i am not worthy to describe this place. see it for yourself and you’d still be speechless too”.

Clark, you are putting my meager world travels to shame.
does clark need an assistant? maybe someone to wash his shirt from time to time?
Again, these photos are totally fake. It’s incredible what you can do with photoshop these days. Clark was actually sitting in his living room, and I had him photoshopped into a photo of ancient ruins.
Pfft.
Amateur.
I could have taken Egypt, sat it down in my living room, and then photoshopped it BEHIND Clark.
hey if you can do it…
whynatte…
write?
