A Few Photos from the Party
  • Last night, in honor of our dear friend Michael Walbert’s birthday, we threw a Whynatte themed party. We knew that this was going to be our biggest party to date, but we had no idea just how big it would be. Close your eyes, and picture a brontasaurus. Now, picture the brontasaurus, but instead of talons, the brontasaurus has other brontasaurus’ attached to the end of its legs. That should give you a solid idea of how big of a party we’re talking about.

We knew that we were going to have to brew more latte than we had ever brewed before. With three espresso machines working at full function, a team of 6 baristas brewed for 5 hours straight. After running out of regular milk, Mike had to milk my doberman to get the final few quarts. When it was all said and done, we had before us 12 gallons of latte.

Off to Opera, where the party was being thrown. The club hooked us up with a lovely outdoor patio area, and hooked everyone that was there for our party up with free entry. At a club where a bottled water will run you a quarter barrel of crude oil, the $5 Whynatte was a welcome drink special.

Turnout was fantastic. Thanks to everyone that braved the monsoon and locusts to make it out. Your support is extremely appreciated, and we hope you had a great time. Happy Birthday to Mike, who is a very respectable and decent man.

If you have photos from the party, please email them to me. Here are a few that I took:

We had to pull a special calcium permit, from the Georgia Department of Calcium, to be in possession of this much latte.

Vanessa worked the bar harder than a migrating wildebeast. She kept the latte urn full, and made sure that the elixir was always at the proper temperature.

The first Whynatte of the night. Everyone is lucid.

“hey, dude, check out my brain.”

“The happiness that I feel from drinking Whynatte almost makes me forget that I grew up in an Slovak Orphanage.”

Pictured with yours truly is the always lovely Hannah. Hannah has devoted the majority of her young life to the Latte. She founded the Atlanta chapter of Adopt a Latte, and serves on the board of the Atlanta Latte Rescue.

Would you have ever guessed that this is their first Whynatte? These two look like they grew up together on a latte orchard.

The man on the left is holding an imaginary Whynatte in his right hand.

Andy can hardly believe that the woman in his right hand is not imaginary.

Raise both arms in the air if you enjoy a nice slow cooked brisket.

Celebrating another wonderful night for the most successful brand without a product.

Hello, I'm one of the co-founders of Whynatte, and currently handle the marketing, branding, and business development. I also handle the mail room, the black market primate side-operation, and most of the shipping and receiving. A little of this, a little of that. The fact that you're actually reading this indicates that you've lent us your time, and have an interest in Whynatte. Thank you. It's the gazillion people who've supported us along the way that make the difference. See you around....
