It was pretty damn incredible when Michael Johns wore his Whynatte shirt on American Idol. However, it’s almost just as strange that he’s getting asked about the Whynatte by an NBC reporter, after his appearance on this morning’s Today Show. None of which is nearly as odd as Michael somehow getting eliminated from the show.
Needless to say, I’m sure that Michael was pretty shocked when the NBC reporter chose to ask him, of all things, about Whynatte.
At this point, Whynatte is something of a fight club-like phenomenon. Take a look around you; your accountant, your dentist, your black market elk dealer, your seemingly innocent NBC reporter – you never know which of them is on that late night Whynatte.
And since you’re on this site, reading this post, and learning about the Whynatte, we here at Whynatte would like to formally say, “welcome to the club.”

I can’t believe michael got kicked off the show! What a shame. He was the best they had left.
