The Baboon Breeders Ball went down this past Friday night at Opera in Atlanta, and if you weren’t there you should give a serious consideration to drinking a large quantity of Tilex. To be sure, this was the largest Whynatte party to date, and marked a new chapter in what promises to be the coming of something enormous. Noah’s Ark? Maybe so, but we’re not at liberty to say. However, we are at liberty to begin collecting two of each animal (I have a pretty solid head start, I must say), just in case the Ark does pull into the harbor.
But I digress. You’re not here to read about my collection of coyotes, you’re here to see the photos from the party.
So let’s get right into the photos, because there are quite a few beauties in the lot. Below is the first batch I’m going to post. If we want to get technical about it, the photos were taken by a strapping young lad named Chris. Chris tells me that all of the photos from the party will be on his website tomorrow (Monday), so check them out at his site: TheMidnightSocialite.com.
The bartenders at Opera hit a nice stride, pouring Whynattes by the dozen:

It was the largest crowd I’ve seen since Jill Palmer’s Bat Mitzvah in 1991:

Looking at this photo of two Jagermeister models, I’m suddenly reminded of how I need to finish that list I was making titled, “things I’d like to coat in caramel”:

Greg Mike enjoyed his first Whynatte so much that he decided to start a clothing company. Check it out when you have a minute at Carpe.

The hor devours tasted like shit, but that didn’t stop Kristin from having a second helping:

Someone told me that Thomas (on the left) left the party, drove straight to a casino in Mississippi, and then drove straight to Austin, TX. In a similar fashion, I went to Taco Bell:

I’m not kidding about Thomas driving from Atlanta to Austin, TX. That latte put the crazy in him:

Let’s end this post on a totally irrelevant note:

Texas! I made it!
So the rumors are true? You really did leave the party and drive straight to Austin vis-a-vis a casino?
