Writer Dan Dunn on the Whynatte Latte
  • Dan Dunn writes for Playboy, which is exactly one more magazine filled with hot naked women than I write for. Therefore, it would follow that when people say they “read Playboy for the articles,” the “articles” that they’re referring to are theoretically written by Dan Dunn. Basically, Dan provides literary cover for throngs of masturbating teens, while at the same time penning articles for one of the most iconic magazines ever.

In addition to Playboy, Dan writes for a few other mom and pop rags, including GQ, Maxim, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, LA Style, Entertainment Weekly, and was formerly a staff writer for the Emmy-nominated TV show “Talk Soup” and freelance joke contributor for SNL’s “Weekend Update.” Within the industry, Dan is what we like to call a “writer.”

Dan has a website, theimbiber.net, that he uses as a platform for his savvy musings on cocktails and culture. Earlier in the week, Dan was gracious enough to write about the Whynatte Latte, and you may read said article by clicking on the red text. I don’t want to spoil the plot, but Dan goes as far as describing the Whynatte Latte as “kick ass.”

Thank you Dan. Andy and I appreciate the invite to party with you at the Playboy mansion this summer:

Hello, I'm one of the co-founders of Whynatte, and currently handle the marketing, branding, and business development. I also handle the mail room, the black market primate side-operation, and most of the shipping and receiving. A little of this, a little of that. The fact that you're actually reading this indicates that you've lent us your time, and have an interest in Whynatte. Thank you. It's the gazillion people who've supported us along the way that make the difference. See you around....

Excellent paragraph and information. The name isn’t silly…it’s attention grabbing so that’s the point! Right?!
