The Coolest Competition Ever (says Creative Loafing)
  • Creative Loafing is calling it the “Coolest competition ever.” Pretty high compliments considering the fact that we ran a competition earlier this year where we gave away 20 live armadillo and Creative Loafing didn’t even bat an eye. I guess armadillo don’t raise eyebrows like they used to.

If you know Atlanta, then you know the Clermont Hotel. It isn’t exactly the classiest joint in the city, and it’s not going to rank all that highly on Trip Advisor, but nevertheless it’s an Atlanta institution. The Clermont Hotel is up for sale, and we’re working with our friends over at Gene Kansas Development to run a redesign competition that’s open to anyone and everyone. The Design Competition is a collaborative effort from a group of young, fun, entrepreneurial companies that care about character, community, creativity and the future of The Clermont.

The Grand Prize: $1,000 cash, a weekend at the Clermont, and a ONE YEAR SUPPLY OF WHYNATTE LATTE.

Hello, I'm one of the co-founders of Whynatte, and currently handle the marketing, branding, and business development. I also handle the mail room, the black market primate side-operation, and most of the shipping and receiving. A little of this, a little of that. The fact that you're actually reading this indicates that you've lent us your time, and have an interest in Whynatte. Thank you. It's the gazillion people who've supported us along the way that make the difference. See you around....

If I win do I HAVE to stay at the Clermont for the whole weekend?

  • Alot of bloggers are not very pleased with this new iPad.There was too much hype over it and alot blogers got turned off.You see, I actually see some of the awesome potential of the device. Third-party soft for making music, games, papers and magazines and FFS books, all kinds of neat stuff, but they failed to sell it right (aside from the books). It feels rather unfinished
