Whynatte sent a secret agent to SXSW in order to ascertain live video footage of some of the festival’s best shows. While our agent may have wound up wandering the streets of Austin, delirious from being mildly drunk and without sleep, his mission was ultimately successful. Accompanied by two other agents from Motion Family, the team attended the most exclusive events over the course of three days in the trenches. Now it’s time to declassify the footage, have Motion Family assemble it into a visually appealing format, and roll out some edited clips from the shows.

Batting lead off is this gem, a Bun B performance at the LRG x Oakley present Elitaste x NUE Agency Best of All Worlds SXSW Showcase. Which is incidentally the longest name of any party that I’ve ever heard of. Bun B nearly detonates the club with a cover of Jay-Z’s Big Pimpin’, and Whynatte was there to see it all go down:
