Whynatte loves local talent. So of course we are a sponsor of the 4th Ward Heroes benefit show at Star Bar in Little Five Points on Thursday night. We wouldn’t miss an opportunity to wake up fully clothed on a Friday morning. But aside from our plug, it really is a great cause. All too often, up and coming bands are poor, forced to survive on a diet of grubs, acorns and PBR. In other words, it’s not easy to cover the expenses of breaking out of Atlanta. This benefit is raising money to help Atlanta’s music scene and send some hot bands on the road to stardom.
Even if you are not in a giving mood, at least come to hear the Mermaids, Young Orchids and Moonlight Bride sing there way OTP. But you can bet your latte that we will be staying late for the silent auction and raffle after the shows. See you on Thursday, May 27th, at 9p.m:
