Today we highlight one of the dark horses in the Whynatte recipe book: The Banjo. It’s F’ing delicious. You wouldn’t necessarily think that it would be the tastiest mix of ingredients, but it will blow your mind. Literally. Off of your neck. The Catdaddy is slightly sweet, but packs a nice crisp punch. The Whynatte Latte smooths it all out. Have a few of these, and you’ll be faded like an old quilt.
So you have 3 reasonable options if you want to try out this tasty cocktail known as the Banjo:
1) Pick up a bottle of Catdaddy and a handful of Whynatte Lattes at Tower Wine and Spirits on Piedmont Rd;
2) Head over to DBA BBQ on N. Highland Ave. Excellent BBQ, and the originators of the Banjo;
3) If you don’t live in Atlanta, order some Whynatte at the Whynatte Store, and then grab some Catdaddy Moonshine from your nearest package store. Bonus points in you actually have your own moonshine still.
