Whynatte Issues a Strong Buy on Whippet Stock
  • From time to time, a new Whynatte drink appears on the scene, and grows to the point where it becomes a part of the Whynatte vernacular. The Saint and the Whynatte Bomb did it. The Slim Mint made it. The Toucan as well. And there are a bunch of Whynatte drinks that are on the cusp of the majors, just one good homestand away from making the squad. We have depth throughout the organization, as one might say. Sure, we make mistakes; I remember when Andy thought that the Whynatte dropped into lambs blood, and served with a fern as a garnish was going to take off, and I went along with it.

However, there are some cocktails that hit it out of the park from day 1. The “Whippet” is one of them. Made with Whynatte Latte and Pinnacle Whipped Cream vodka, this combo is the answer to a question you didn’t even know you wanted to ask. Like an adult bobcat, it’s strong without being heavy, and just crazy enough to take down a full grown man.

I am actually craving one right now, they’re so good. They’re like the new water. There’s a bunch of bars in Atlanta making Whippets, and its even spread to the Mezzanine Lounge in Houston.

Here are some of the spots that I know of which are making Whippets. If you work at a bar and are making them, please let us know so that we can add you to the list:

DBA BBQ on N. Highland. $3 Whippets day in and day out.
    Tin Lizzy’s (all 3 locations). $4 Whippets.
    Mezzanine Lounge (Houston)
    Hudson Grille
    Mellow Mushroom (Brookhaven)
    The Cheetah
    Capital Room (Athens)
    Zucca (Smyrna)
    Kaysons
    Sweetwater Billiards

Coming soon (by the end of the week):

Maggie’s on N. Druid Hills. By popular demand.
Famous Pub on N. Druid Hills. Also by popular demand.
    Charlie G’s – they’ll be $3!
    The Bucket Shop
    North Highland Pub

Also, you can always pick up Whynatte Lattes and Pinnacle Whipped (it’s good vodka and it’s only $10 a bottle!!!) at one of these fine package stores:

    Tower (Buckhead & Doraville)
    Green’s (Buford Hwy & Ponce)
    Mac’s
    Toco Giant
    Pitch & Putt
    Happy Times
    Decatur Package

Hello, I'm one of the co-founders of Whynatte, and currently handle the marketing, branding, and business development. I also handle the mail room, the black market primate side-operation, and most of the shipping and receiving. A little of this, a little of that. The fact that you're actually reading this indicates that you've lent us your time, and have an interest in Whynatte. Thank you. It's the gazillion people who've supported us along the way that make the difference. See you around....

Did you consider the fact that you named this drink after a drug? A Whippet is a CO2 canister that gets dispensed into a balloon which is then inhaled. People don’t usually like appearing as drug addicts….

On the other hand, they are delicious
