We had so much fun playing host to last month’s Hall Pass advance screening, that we’ve decided to make it a regular thing. I mean, we like seeing the hottest new movies, in advance, for free, smelling like lilac, as much as the next guy.

Without further adieu, this months advance screening is for Sucker Punch, a badass looking movie from director Zack Snyder. “Who is Zack Snyder?”, you may be asking yourself. Zack directed a little movie called 300, which I loved nearly every minute of. He’s also directing the new Superman movie.

I could describe to you a better tuna casserole recipe than I could do a better job than this preview of describing the premise of Sucker Punch. Suffice to say, it seems to be a story about captivity and the journey to freedom, all wrapped up in a fantasy thriller with killer special effects. Oddly enough, that is also the basic premise of the Whynatte internship program. Anyway, watch the trailer on the

We also had a great time hosting a ticket giveaway promotion at a bar, that we’re going to do it again. We’ll be handing out complimentary passes to the movie screening at the Vortex in Midtown, on Saturday March 19th. 6pm. Come out, drink some Whynattes, and get yourself some tickets for a nice date night with that special someone. The screening itself is at Regal Atlantic Station, on March 23rd at 10pm.
