Okay, so this is a new party theme, and certainly not one tailored to the diabetic crowd. However, here at Whynatte we’re all about figuring out new and innovative ways to party, so we’re all for it.

This Saturday, welcome to the High Fructose Corn Syrup Party, the next installment in the always packed monthly series of parties thrown by Bedlam. This thing is going to be one part Candyland, one part Willy Wonka, and fourteen parts late night Whynatte induced nunchuck fighting. This is your dentist’s worst nightmare.

As written by the folks at Bedlam, “Bellissima will be turned into a HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP CANDY COATED DREAM. It will be incrEDIBLE. Come dressed in your junk food inspired clothing / edible attire is of course welcome and preferred.” In other words, the closer you can come to dressing up as a life size Pez dispenser, the better. This will be my 5th Bedlam party that I’ve attended, I can say without hesitation that the majority of the crowd will do as instructed, and come covered in candy. I can also say that these are some of the best parties in Atlanta, and the vibe is always fun and friendly.

And, in case your blood sugar wasn’t already high enough, we’re going to be dishing out FREE Whynatte Whippet shots starting at 10pm. Seriously, there will most likely be a man dressed up as a Swedish Fish, passing around free Whynatte shots by the platter.
